COURSE SUMMARY

WHAT WE DO DIFFERENT

At Frank Whites we do things slightly different, we have been creating divers since 1956, over the years it has taught us is if you are cold and wet you become uncomfortable. If you are uncomfortable you may find it more difficult to focus and learn. To remedy this we train our divers in drysuits which keeps you warm dry and comfortable throughout the duration of your training. When training at Frank Whites you will earn TWO certifications. One, is your Open Water Diver certification allowing you to rent and dive world wide while the other is your Drysuit Specialty keep you warm dry and comfortable in cold water environments.

POOL
We will spend 6 - 8 hours of pool training as a pre requisite to the ocean dive check outs.

Most dive centres will offer a 4 dive ocean course as the minimum requirement. At Frank Whites we pride ourselves in adding an extra day and 2 additional dives for a total of 6 ocean dives.

If you find you are falling behind it gives you an extra day plus two dives to make up skills and complete the course. Alternatively if you knock it out of the park, 2 additional fun dives that you can plan under the supervision of your dive instructor. This will build that extra confidence to make sure you are comfortable to go off and dive on your own.

Once you are certified you are welcome to join us for our FREE drop in dive that we host on weekly on weekends.
