Sidney Gulf Islands

The Sidney Gulf Islands is home to countless amazing dive sites.  From the GB Church or the HMCS McKenzie to classics like Arbutus Island, or North/South Cod Reefs, the diving is fantastic.

Visibility: Can get up to 60-70 feet, but usually 20-30 feet

Current:  Average to stronger currents mean diving anywhere at anytime is not an option.

Life: Due to stronger currents, lots of life to be seen in this area, especially octopus, wolf eels, anemones etc.

Wind: Exposure to wind can be a challenge, however there are areas more protected.

Diver Experience: Some dives are advanced, recent experience only, while others are beginner level dives.
