- PADI Assistant Instructor
- Have CPR and First Aid training within the last 2 years
- Be 18 years or older by the start of course
- PADI Medical form signed by a Physician

EQUIPTMENT NEEDED
All equipment is to be supplied by the student. (Equipment can be rented at Frank White’s at a reduced cost for students registered in the OWSI course.)
Equipment needed: Mask, snorkel, fins, Exposure suit (drysuit recommended), Hood, boots, gloves, Weight belts (for both ocean and pool), Buoyancy compensator with inflator, Regulator, Alternate air source, Submersible pressure and depth gauge or computer, Underwater timing device, Cyalume sticks, Underwater compass, Compressed air cylinder (80 cu.ft. Recommended, 2 preferred), Underwater light (1 primary, 1- back up), Dive knife, Gear bag, Spare parts kit, Logbook, Pool suit, Underwater slate
